climbing out.

light above, holding its head so high,

the opposite of her

tilted neck, facing the ground

with a single tear pouring down. She can’t

bear to look at other’s joy;

blinding her eyes, she thinks

she’ll never see

again.

 

It calls her sight, she gives a glace

the doors throw open, acceptance and

escape. She is not blind, but rather

she can finally

see.
